പൂനെയില്‍ വ്യാജമദ്യ ദുരന്തം: 18 മരണം, നിരവധി പേര്‍ ചികിത്സയില്‍

മുംബൈ|മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ പൂനെയില്‍ വ്യാജമദ്യം കഴിച്ച് 18 പേര്‍ മരിച്ചു. നിരവധി പേര്‍ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലാണ്. ഇതില്‍ മൂന്നുപേരുടെ നില അതീവ ഗുരുതരമാണ്. ചിലരുടെ കാഴ്ച ശക്തി നഷ്ടമായതായും റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുകളുണ്ട്. യോഗേഷ് വാംഖഡെ എന്നയാളാണ് വ്യാജമദ്യം വിതരണം ചെയ്തത്. ഇയാളെ പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

പിംപ്രി-ചിഞ്ച്വാഡിലെ ഫുഗേവാഡി പ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നും പൂനെയിലെ ഹഡപ്‌സര്‍ മേഖലയിലുമാണ് മരണങ്ങള്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തത്. ഫുഗേവാഡിയില്‍ 13 പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. വ്യാജമദ്യ വില്‍പ്പനയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് യോഗേഷിനെ കൂടാതെ ഏഴു പേരെ കൂടി പോലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

സംഭവത്തില്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ദേവേന്ദ്ര ഫഡ്നാവിസ് വിശദമായ അന്വേഷണത്തിന് ഉത്തരവിട്ടു. കുറ്റകൃത്യത്തില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ട ഒരാളെ പോലും രക്ഷപ്പെടാന്‍ അനുവദിക്കരുതെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി.
